Our 9th annual signature spring fundraiser for the arts!  Our very own Barbara Gagel Visual Arts Gallery, located in the lobby of the NextDoor Theater, will be in full bloom with art and flowers for one night only, March 5, 2020!  Local artists will have on display their fine art, craft, jewelry, sculpture, textiles and photography - and each one will be visually interpreted with a flower arrangement created by a volunteer community designer!  This is the one event of the year you do not want to miss!

Our Grand Opening Reception from 7:00-10:00 PM promises:​

PARTICIPATION DETAILS
CREATE A FLORAL DESIGN OR HANG YOUR ART!
Our 8th annual ART IN BLOOM seeks ARTISTS to provide work as the inspiration and seeks DESIGNERS to interpret these works with floral creations.

We will provide you with all the support and guidance needed to successfully & joyfully participate in one of the most visually exciting events of our community each year!

All volunteer DESIGNERS will be invited to attend an ART IN BLOOM WORKSHOP held by Brian Milauskas to answer all your questions and demonstrate how to approach your design.

ARTISTS from all mediums (paint, sculpture, craft, textile, multi-media, photography, jewelry & more!) are invited to have their work be the inspiration for a unique floral interpretation!

DETAILS for DESIGNER PARTICIPATION  
  • There is no participation fee.  
  • Please submit participation form no later than FEBRUARY 1.
  • Designers will be able to select their art "inspiration" on FEB 14 from 8:30-10:00 AM and 5:30-7:00 PM at the Next Door Theater or by appointment.
  • Your Floral Arrangement and Container may be picked up after the exhibit on FRI MARCH 6 between 6:45 PM-7:15pm, or SAT MARCH 7 between 9:30am-4:00pm, or by appointment.
  • Pedestals/Tables will be provided for display.  
  • Arrangements will be juried and awards presented in both community and professional categories. 
  • Designers receive one complimentary Gala ticket.

DETAILS for ARTIST PARTICIPATION 
  • There is no participation fee.  
  • Artists may deliver their work to the Kidstock! office adjacent to the theater weekdays 10-6 or by appointment.
  • Exhibited art for sale by the artist through the gallery is a 20/80 split.
  • Art may be picked up FRI MARCH 6 between 6:45 PM-7:15pm, or SAT MARCH 7 between 9:30am-4:00pm, or by appointment.
  • Artists receive one complimentary Gala ticket.
